Needlepoint made by the residents of Barlin during the shooting of the video "Faire le mur".
In 2009, as the death of this community is declared from the scattering of its people in several cities, I asked this ancient community to weave once more. Not by joining in all together but by taking the canvas from house to house. Each person weaves a part of this famous painting, contributing to the production, and allowing one another to meet again - a possible alternative to revive the tribe and continue the story.
